Azioni di informazione e promozione dei vini Gambellara DOC realizzate con il sostengo del Programma di Sviluppo Rurale per il Veneto 2014/2020
Friday 17 and Saturday 18 November the Syndacate Association “Associazione Temporanea di Scopo “Val D’Alpone”” organized an important conference with the title: “Bolca: an historic-paleontological heritage to promote. Status of the researches and future programs”, where also Consorzio Tutela Vini Gambellara participated.
An event that lasted two days, hosted, Friday 17 November by Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Verona (= Verona Natural History Civic Museum), and Saturday 18 November by Fossils Museum in Bolca, the most famous and worldwide known paleontological Eocene Epoch site.
During these two days it was examined in depth the theme of the conference through experts speeches, debates and territory visits in Bolca, “alla Pesciara” (= animal fossils site) and at the Paleontological Museum in Roncà; it was also presented the UNESCO candidacy project of Alpone Valley, which is the aim of the Syndacate Association “Associazione Temporanea di Scopo “Val D’Alpone””, and the volume “Vertebrati Fossili marini e terrestri del Veronese” (=Marine and Terrestrial Vertebrate of Verona area).
